I'm planning to build a new socket 939 system. Does anyone out there use this power supply with a socket 939 system? I'm wondering if it has enough current on the 12V rails to run this system smoothly.

Here are the specs so far:

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
3500+ Winchester 90nm
Gigabyte 6800 GT
2x512 OCZ PC3200
Samsung SATA 160GB

I just checked the Antec web site and it states that maximum load for +12V is 22A. Problem is, I already own this power supply. If anyone is using this power supply I'd like to know what your experience has been.

I have the truepower 480 (not the trueblue) and have had no problems.

currently running it with a 754 (though may go 939 soon), I would expect that it will work fine as people are running 939's with unknown 350 and 400 watt powersupplies which are unlikley to supply more amps then the antec

This is one of the best power supplies out there. It will most certainly have enough power. Heck, a 300-watt power supply would have enough power for a basic socket 939 setup. That video card is what is going to require a good power supply. My True480 is doing a fine job.

Although I've nothing against Antec PSU's(gone through many over the years and currently have 2 systems running 'em) I'm kinda dismayed that the Truepower 480 only put's out 22A on the 12V.
That's kinda meager for up-to-date higher end systems with power hungry video cards,CPU's & memory. And add to that multilpe case fans for cooling.
I'm not neccessarily pointing in the direction of getting the biggest baddest mega power PSU,but rather a good quality PSU with adequate output.
When I built my current system my choices of PSU were influenced by 1.Quality 2.Performance 3.Dual 12V rails for dedication to video card powering 4.Modular rail capability5.Qiuetness 6.Cooling The latter 2 kinda go hand in hand given a 120mm fan cools well and is qiuet.
That narrowed down my choices a lot at the time I was shopping around and I basically opted for the Antec NeoPower 480W that met all those criteria.A good investment indeed it is.Couldn't be happier with it unless it had braided wiring. That is the only thing I'd change.
My advise is to invest in a good PSU that has overhead for upgrading. Then you'll never have to question it as a reason for any problems. And I mean come on,it's not like the price difference is that much between middle to top end class of quality PSU's.And afterall it's one,if the most important piece of equipment in your computer. You wouldn't want to build a Mercedes with a KIA engine in it now would you?

I do have neo power 480. Can you explain the whole thing about the 2 +12 rails ? in specs says
+12v1 18A and +12v2 15A. Does this means 33A in total ? How this v1 and v2 really works ?
