I just upgraded my power supply to the Antec True 550w w/ Fan Controller and All I can hear are my 3 NMB case fans. I paid the extra 10 bucks and got the model with the external fan / power controller that fits in a 5.25" bay and its definatly worth it. I can control the speed of the intake and exhaust fan on the PSU and control the power output of the power supply. I can also use the fan controller to control 2 external casefans, there is a seperate power line for fans only and you can control the voltage of the fans.
Its nice to have the comp on and not hear it.

My NMBs are a bit louder than my Truepower 430 as well. The NMBs have a clicking sound which is actually the most noticable thing about them. Otherwise, they would probably be quieter. Is this the model with adjustable pots as well? Does it regulate voltages well?

I was reffering to this fan. Link. NMB is the brand name, but this fan is simply reffered to by its brand around here, since it is the only popular NMB used.

Yeah this is the model with the adjustable potentiometer and it can regulate the voltage as well it has 3 seperate pot switches for the 12v 3.3v and 5v. Its mounted on a 5.25" bay drive and I think its color is meant for the Lanboy cuz its a silverish grey color.
