I am not sure if this is the proper forum for this, but this is where my buddys are:).I own both these power supplys.I wanted to see what difference each brought to the table. The Antec has the the fan sensors and the Enermax does not.For the most part the numbers are the same.It changes a bit on +/- 12.00 and the +/- 5.00 this is where there is a bit of a difference.Numbers did fluctuate slightly but for the most part its fairly accurate.I used MBM5 for the testing.I don't know if higher or lower is better in certain instances like the +/- 12.00 and the +/- 5.00 so maybe someone can shed some light on this.My system was overclocked 1.6a@2.3 with 1.725V applied in the bios (keep that in mind the volts applied in bios). The Mobo is a 4G4A and shows how much it undervolts.Cor 0 I do not now what that is but both PSU's were at 1.52 I have never used MBM5 before only PcProbe so its all new to me.I wish I had an Antec 550 for the test but unfortunately I don't.Does one PSU perform better than the other?.Who is the winner unless the numbers are so slight thats its even?.Same components were used on both PSU's.I just swapped out PS's.

A good deal less power fluctuation on the Antec, that's mainly what your looking for in a good PSU. Both are very nice PSU's though, it's obvious the Antec has a more reliable average of the two.

hmmm...enermax has a better average...

lastride: your 3.3 seems a little low...

All antec true powers have a relatively lower 12V line. This seemed very intereseting to me since both are very good supplys. Also Antec runs hotter than enermax due to its low cfm fans.

SupermanCK,I noticed that.I talked to Duvie and he says his 4BDA and enermax 300-350 watt power supply reads the same. What ever he has listed as vdimm voltage is pretty much what it list +3.3v.Thats what it did to me.If I raise my vdimm voltage to 2.70 than my 3.3 goes to 2.70 and so on in MBM5.

The Enermax during testing seemed to fluctuate a little more than the Antec. The +12.00 under load hit +12.40. Overall it bounced a little more than the antec with slighhtly higher numbers for the +/- 5.00 and the +/-12.00 I don't know if thats good or bad.The Antec was more steady but the Enermax had slightly higher numbers in certain areas.

your are not comparing similar power supplies..one is 430w vs 550 w..so this may have some to do with the results...I have a 480W true power and see similar results vs 430w

I've got a True Power 550, the truepowers are really nice power supplys.

This is just my personal experience, but I've had a lot more success with antec psu's than Enermax. (Success being in terms of stability and longevity) So this comes as no real surprise to me...:)
