I looked into both the Antec 300 and the Cooler Master Centurion 590 when I was getting a new case just a few weeks ago. The Antec 300 seemed very basic with what they included. There were no rubber mounts on the hard drive bays and the overall interior felt cramped compared to the 590 (this was a first person view at at Fry's B&M). The only tool-less feature actually worth using in the Cooler Master Centurion would be the expansion slot ones. The drive mounting mechanism is flimsy so I ended up using screws anyway. I took both cases pretty much apart in the store and it just felt like the Centurion was the better thought out of the two.Originally posted by: AmberClad
I honestly think the CM 590, which looks similar, is a better overall case. The 300 lacks flexibility because while it looks like it has 9x 5.25" bays, it actually only has 3 (the top 3 ones). It also lacks tool-less bays and cable management features, if I recall correctly from the reviews I've seen.
Can a filter be placed under the PSU to eliminate excess dust and other things that might get sucked into the PSU?Originally posted by: RallyMaster

As far as I can see, there are no fan mounting screws located under Centurion 590 so mounting a filter might be tricky but I'm sure someone will cook up something.Originally posted by: Irse

Yes, definitely look at a case in person before you buy anything. I had a good selection of cases to choose from besides the two mentioned above including the CM Centurion 690, CM Cosmos and Thermaltake M9.Originally posted by: geokilla
Here is a mini review on the Antec Three Hundred. link
Seems to be a good product, but I guess there's better out there. However, for under $60 it's a pretty good deal. I suggest you look at it in person to figure out which case you want. I'd consider the Three Hundred since I like the design of this over the CM 690.
