Hi everyone,

I'm going to be building my first computer, and am very close to ordering the parts.

I've read in several reviews of a few GPU's that "they are quite large, make sure it will fit in your case."

New Egg says that the maximum GPU size for the Three Hundred is 11 inches.

1. Will the HD 6850 fit in this case? It's 11.5 inches, so simple math says that it won't... but perhaps Antec's specs are being a bit overly cautious?

2. Am I reading the specs of this GTX 460 correctly? It is only 7.9 inches? Such a huge difference from the 6850, which I was leaning towards.

I suppose I could choose a different case, but I've heard good things about the Three Hundred and it's so affordable. If the 11.5" 6850 will indeed not fit, can anyone give any recommendations for other cases that they've used and trust, in the same $60~ price range?

Thanks for any and all help!

That card is so not 11.5 inches. I have a 6950 (10.5"), which is longer than a 6850, and it fits just fine.

edit:
Product Dimensions: 6.5 x 3.5 x 11.5 inches
You really think that card is 3.5" thick and 6.5" wide? :\ Sounds like the dimensions of the box.

Haha, the thought did cross my mind that those might be the box dimensions.

It does look thicker than other GPU's I've seen in pictures, so 3.5" seemed possible... haha, I've never dealt with a GPU in person before so I have nothing tangible to base this off of :)
