Antec Three Hundred or Coolermaster Elite 330

Hands down...Antec 300

I have the Antec 300 and Coolermaster 310 elite. The CM is a nice case but airflow sucks. I have to leave the side panel off otherwise it gets too hot.

Antec 300 I have all the fans running at minumum speed and it cools just about as well as if the system was on the bench.

Just for the record:
CM 310 has x58/ UD3R, 920@ 4ghz 1.25v, gtx 260@1550 shaders; running WCG and gpugrid. 100% load. 920 is cooled by megahalem so I cannot add any of the fans for the side panel.
If I run the front fan, it actually make the system run hotter for some reason. So I basically have the CPU fan, and exhaust fan along with having to keep the panel off.

Antec 300: Biostar Tpower 920@4ghz@1.25v cooled with TRUE.
2 GTX 275's@1620 shaders.
This system runs WCG and F@H 100% load
I run the 2 front fans, top fan, exhaust, cpu fans, side panel fan.
Its really quiet and cools really well. I am very pleased.

The CM may be ok for your needs, but for me I will have to mod it to make it work for my needs

I think the Antec 300 is a better made case versus the Elite 330, plus of course has better ventilation.

I went with the 300 also. Got it on sale at newegg for $35 and free shipping.

Love it. Only thing about it is that I use IDE and SATA drives. Its was difficult to get the ribbon cable in proper position and not be all folded up in a bad way and with my graphics card, it blocks the use of a HDD slot. Great airflow, easy to maintain, good quality case for being so cheap. Oh and the cable management isn't the best, depending on where the main power connection on the MB is.

It also came with enough thumbscrews to replace all the regular screws in the case, such as the ones that hold down the motherboard, powersupply and even the slots that hold expansion cards. Not really important but it was nice of them to include so many.

Between these two cases Antec is a higher quality case. (better made etc) CoolerMaster has really bad quality control issues... (I personally don't like CM cases and I had a few, 2 Stackers, Cosmos 1000, CM690 and probably couple more that I can't remember)

I'm using the 300 for my new i7 rig. I've always liked Antec cases; I like this one as well. I'm using it as a photo/video workstation so I only have one video card and six hard drives. I added an additional front and side case fan.
As is usually the case with Antec; it is a quality case, easy to work with and all hardware is provided.
No option for floppy drive, you'll need rail kits to add 3.5" drives in the upper 5.25" bays. If you use a larger video card; like the GeForce 9800+ in my box; it will block one of the 3.5" drive bays. If you are a gamer, that shouldn't be an issue; you probably won't be using more than three hard drives anyway. This may be more of a PSU issue; but with the power supply on the bottom of the case; the SATA power connectors of my Corsair 750TX were "upside down"; still worked OK but took a little extra effort.
A pretty good case; especially at the price.
