Antec SX835II and A7N8X Deluxe - Pwr Fan Speed

I've got a Barton 2500+ setup running on a A7N8X Deluxe mobo sitting inside an Antec SX835II case. All's well, things are working smoothly, except... the two-wire (black and blue) power supply fan cable that plugs into the motherboard to report the PS fan speed does not seem to be working. The BIOS shows 0 rpm for the PS fans, which is obviously not true.

Anyone else have the same problem?

Might just be your PSU fan is running slow enough that it's below the BIOS measurement threshold. Does it show up on AsusProbe? The PSU fan and chassis fan speed readouts might be switched in AsusProbe.

For my Antec True430 on an A7N8X-Dlx, the PSU fan doesn't show up in BIOS, but reads ~1500RPM in AsusProbe.

Thanks for the reply. I actually haven't gone that far yet--got the components last night and assembled the rig and was monitoring through BIOS Hardware Log to make sure that the MB/CPU temps were stable. Will go ahead and install AsusProbe after installing OS and see if it makes a difference. Thanks again.
