Antec SX830's Fan Postitioning and Airflow?

I just bought an Antec SX830...it's awesome. But it came in with 2 stock fans in the rear. I'm planning to buy one or two fans for the front slot. Should I put in just one fan, hence the "negative" pressure? OR .... put in 2 fans in front, so they'd equalize??? Also would 4 fans be too loud? (or just no extra fans in front at all?)

These are the options I'm looking at. Thanks for any advice. 🙂

After reading a lot about this I don't think that creating positive or negative pressure really happens unless the case is otherwise sealed. I know that most cases have extra vents here and there and even if you have more flow one way or the other, the vents are going to come into play and case leakage in or out. The real question is just airflow and total amount of air moved through the case. If I was you I would try it both ways and see which lowers the temp the most. I'm guessing that having 2 front fans would be better. This would bring more cool air into the case.

I have the same case and it is great. I put the two fans that came with it in the front as intakes and got two Sunon High Outputs for the back to act has exhaust. The Antec fans are not as loud as the Sunon's and they are much closer to whrte I sit than the exhaust fans are that is why I switched them around. I also added some aluminum fan filters from 2cooltek to cut down on the dust. With this set up case temp and ambeint room temp are the same.

that reminds me.....are Sunon fans KD1208PTB2(2).H (80mm - 12v - 0.16amp - 2.1watts - 2900rpm - 39cfm - 32decibels) quiter or louder than Antec's stock fans? that's the model I plan to buy, pretty cheap.

Also... are filters useful? I don't know how much dust can get in since I never had a "open" case like this before. Thanks.
