about a month ago, I had decided on this case. I then took a month off from all this computer stuff, and I'm wondering if this is still a good case overall. Or perhaps there's something better out there for the buck?

while i like the features of the sx1030 series, I don't like the look that much. I don't like the door and I don't really like how it looks w/o the door.

Plus the link you provided is not the antec version. It's the case manuf. version.

If you don't need the extra hdd spot, and don't like the door, stick w/ the sx830. You get one more intake fan w/ it, plus it's cheaper. I would sacrifice looks for performance...but it's up to you

I know the 830 has 3-5 1/4 ext, 2-3 1/2 ext, 3-3 1/2 int. Not sure about the 1030. Antec has a new case coming out, the sx630. It has the same number of bays but is about 3 inches shorter and has 2 less fans.
I really like my 830. Lotsa room and good cooling.

I got my SX830 last night, and oh my god. This thing is a beautiful work of art, everything was super easy to use, no flaws that I could tell. One thing though, I thought that there were only 2 fan mounts on the front, mine came with 2 + a fan mount in the HDD bay. Is this standard? Big thumbs up for Antec. :)

Yeah, you're suppossed to have 3 fan mounts total in the front of your case. Where did you buy it from?
