Antec SX830 problem

I just got my new subj, and now there is a question.

Apparently the top front panel does not come off when the left side panel (the one with the latch) is attached to the case, since the left release button gets stuck 🙁

Is it a general feature of these cases or mine is defective ?

you have to take the left side off as well 🙂 I have had the same problem.

it's not a problem or defect..that's just how it is.

I dont' know why u wont bother to take the leftside off...since it's the easiest thing in the world. (but you don't have to have the other side off.) I open the door more often than taking the bezel on/off. on 2nd note, u shouldn't try to removie the bezel w/o the door off, as it could break off the plastic latch.

not really a problem...maybe just a security feature. you wouldn't want anyone just popping that thing front bezel off and running away with your drives since it's just on rails. this is assuming you actually lock that side panel.

It's designed that way as part of the security set up. Ie what's the point of a locking door if someone can rip off the bezel, take your drives, then reach in and take stuff off your mobo?

It probably shouldn't be made of plastic, then.🙂
You get used to it pretty fast. You also can't put it back on unless the latch side is off.
