Antec SX1040 question

I bought an Antec SX1040B case last week. This thing is sweet! I love it. Well put together and thought out. One question, though; what the hell are those 2 sets of four plastic and metal tabs that slide in and out of the two holders on the bottom of the inside of the case? What do these things do?! I cannot figure this out! 😡

They are the drive rails. You attach them to your CD-ROM/DVD/CD-RW etc. and then just slide the drives in place.
