Do they have to be 80mm fans? I'm considering getting the panaflow 92MM L1A for the case. How quiet are these fans? (rated at 27 dba). Anyoen else have any suggestions for decent, quiet and not so expensive case fans for this case?

You can't use other fans than 80mm ones without modifying the fan holders, but I have seen many people in the forums, that have done that. Note, that you can't screw the fans directly to the case, there are no holes.

26 dBa sounds rather silent, you won't get much more silent fans without an effort, although I use 4 Pabst NGML 19cfm@12dBA 80mm fans, but I think they are difficult to get in the US.
 
I have a sx1030b. You can always drill mounting holes for the 92mm if you choose. You can fit the 92mm fan in the 80mm purple fan holders with a little work. You can also put a 120mm & 80mm in the front of the case with a little modification to the case. Check out the 1030 album to see the pictures. I used Panaflow L1A and M1A fans in my case and with all fans running (5), it is very quiet.
