I searched this forum and found out this is the lowest price ever.

Is the Sonata one a better deal to get?

I built a computer for a friend using the original Sonata. It was so quiet you couldn't even tell it was on. Supposedly the SonataII is an improved version. And you have to like Antec's power supplies. I'm tempted to order one as an upgrade for my HTPC.

I have both the original Sonata and Solo. The Solo is quieter due to the double-layered panels and new HD suspension. The 2nd gen Sonata still has those holes on the side, doesn't it?

Fantastic deal. I've built quite a few machines with this case, very quiet and good cooling. Had a customer that poped a psu during an electrical storm (no ups or anything) and Antec RMA process was very painless. They sent a brand new retail boxed version of the PSU. I just wish I had some cast to pick one of these up now!

My Sonata II did not have those holes in the side; the front door was different too (it now can swing out 270 deg. as opposed to 190 deg. and is a bit tougher to close.

I still love the case. At $50 I can't think of anything around that price that can compete against it.

I do heart his case.

Hmmm Antec's power supplies are good but this one "450Watt SmartPower 2.0 " included with the Sonata II has had many problems. Read reviews for 450Watt SmartPower 2.0 on Newegg.

OUCH worse than I thought

I did have to replace 1 of 2 TRUEPower Antec 380 included with my Sonata I cases.

I've had this case for almost a year now and haven't had any problems with the PSU. I got a good stable Vid and CPU OC with it too. The case is quiet and beautiful as well.
