antec sonata

The instructions on hooking up the front usb port for my antec sonata case are a little vague. The motherboard instructions are just as bad (MSI K8N neo platinum). I have power to the front (my headphones work fine), and the grey USB cord is hooked up to the correct place on the motherboard. Is there some sort of driver or bios setting that I am lacking? I cant get any USB peripherals to run from the front ports.

you didn't plug em in backwards or something? it worked for mine, its one block with 7 wires for a plug right? i've seen worse...each wire being a separate plug ick

I had to pull one of the wires out of the connector for it to work.
This was fairly well discussed back when I bought mine. I'm at work now, so I can't tell you which one to remove.
I'll see if I can find a link or some more info.

Edit: Read thru this thread.
It should help you out. If I remember correctly, you have to compare the connector you have to what your MB needs. There will most likley be one too many wires inthe connector. Simply remove the one that is not needed (and cover it with electrical tape or similar), and then connect to your MB.
