Antec Sonata III Side Panel Help

I'd like to think I'm slightly technical and not completely weak sauce. I'm seriously just afraid of using too much force opening it. I bought this thing brand new and just unpacked it. I took off the thumbscrews and I can slide the black handle too. I just have no friggin clue how to get the thing off. Thank you in advance.

unscrew the thumbscrews

tug on that handle towards the front of the case

then pull in the normal direction

so

Pull the handle like

-->

Then pull the door

and it should come off. If it does not check to see it isnt locked with the key

I don't have the key, I think it comes inside the case, right?

Does the door swing out? It's not attached, but swings out as if the hinge is from the front?

Nevermind, I got it. I had to go in through the front by removing all the CD/DVD and floppy slots and then remove the fan from the back and push out from the inside while holding the handle down. What a pain in the butt, I don't doubt Antec's quality, but I'm a little weary now.

That is odd. Yeah it should normally swing from back to front with kindof a "hinge" at the front side of the panel

It was tricky when I first opened it due to the little switch but I don't have the same problem.

Was it stuck?

EDIT:

Gotcha, I'd send Antec an email or give them a call, im pretty sure they wouldn't mind sending you a new side (I've seen people have problems with front doors on cases and those are resolved well)
