Hi,

Can anybody please tell me if the Antec Sonata II case has any kind of airhole(s) or something in the side panels or none at all.

I would actually prefer none, for maximum silence, but these days most cases have some kind of hole in the side panel where the CPU is, so I wondering if this is different with this case.

Also, can you explain what exactly this "air duct" is I read about in reviews.. is this perhaps a (small) hole located in the side panel for intake or something?!..

Also, on some pictures I see something that looks like a hole where the handle is, but because the case is black I can't see it very well? Can you tell me if there is any kind of hole there?!

Thanks for all good info!!

The Sonata 1 has holes on either side, but im 99% certain that the Sonata 2 has no holes on the sides and just more holes in the back near the PCI slots.

Hi,

What is this "air duct" the Sonata II has?! Doesn't that bring air in or out meaning there is a hole somewhere in the case? Where is the air duct located?!

Thanks for the info!!

Dude, look at the pics on newegg. It's the black duct you see in the pic that shows the side panel of the case off.

its just a duct that is located over the cpu and brings hot air from the cpu to the back. you can actually install a fan inside the duct too. i have the sonata II, so ask away if u have any more questions.
