Yeah, the price probably won't go down anytime soon. Thanks for the heads up about Newegg :thumbsup: I ordered my Sonata II within hours of it appearing there a couple weeks ago.

Why is that a bad idea? It makes sense thermally, and since it is shielded only a direct liquid spill from the open side of the vent will cause any problems...

I wouldn't worry so much about vendors raising thier prices now.

If you're patient, there are going to be about 500 hitting the distributors in about a week. At that point, supply will be such that the price should stay reasonable thereafter.

You've heard of the law of "suppy and demand" right Tank???

Stated in my own words it implies that "...as the demand for an item rises, so does it's obtainable selling price !!!"

TechOnWeb went out-of-stock around 7:30 PM EST on the P180s they had just gotten today and I suspect their $120'ish price (up from last week's $109'ish price) will rise to $140'ish selling price by the time they get their next batch of P180s. The other vendors are ALREADY at the $140+ (plus shipping) price point. :roll:

Yea, I realize a lot of stores will raise thier prices as demand goes up. However, I am thinking that since these cases are going to available to more vendors, hopefully everyone will stop price gouging so much.

As of the time I type this TechOnWeb has this case back in stock at the SAME $142.57 DELIVERED price that they did before they ran out of it yesterday.

I placed my order for one at 7:00 AM EST this morning.

Get yours while you still can.

NewEgg ran out of stock on the P180 one day after getting them in stock for the first time. They were asking almost $22 more delivered than the price I paid for mine from TechOnWeb. I just received my confirmation that the case has shipped. I can't wait !
