Antec Sonata + 8800GT

Hello everyone,

(this is not for myself)

My friend is getting a 8800GT e-VGA (single slotter) Like I have and a P5K-E, but with an Antec Sonata III.

Will that case have enough cooling for the card w/o replacing cooler?

I am worried that it won't be enough considering it has no intake fan. From my measurements on my case I don't think intake fan would fit with the card there

I should take out my 8800GT and throw it into my dad's PC to see how it fits there

My dad's pc has a intake fan on his sonata atm

I have the Sonata III and a 8800GT. Only other card I have is an XFi sound card in the bottom slot. I have an addition 120mm Tri-cool fan mounted on the hd case (had to use zip-ties, screw holes too small). On my GT I use a Zalman VF900. To also help GT cooling I use a 80mm low noise fan I zip-tied between the GT and sound card.
GT idles @ 41 and 57 load.
GT is 9" long and it just fits with the 120x25mm mounted up front. 38mm it won't.

It ended up fitting perfectly, power cable was slightly in the way to put a screw in but with a little push it worked.

The only thing is the pci-e power cord is REALLY close to it and actually touches the fan casing
