Antec Smartpower 350w psu with Pci-Express mobo

Hi,

I have just built a system with the following:

A64 3000+ Winchester
1gb PC3200
1 Dvd-Rom
1 Dvd-Writer
200gb Sata Hard Drive
1 Ati X700 Gfx card
Tv Tuner card
Antec SLK3700-BQE case

It is running ok at the moment, but my question is whether the psu will cope in the longer term. It is the Smartpower 350watt version and has a 20 pin Atx connector. The graphics card I am using has no external power connector.

When I first installed Windows XP Professional I had a few boot freezes and then checkdisc picked up some corrupted sectors. I then did a re-install with the full format option and it has been ok since. Do you think the original issues were psu related?

Looking forward to your replies.

It looks okay. How many amps does that PSU have on the 12V rail?

I see one model with 16A on the 12V rail. That will be okay, but a little risky.
Another model has dual 12V rails, 10A and 15A. That will be fine as long as the power is divided btween the rails well.

Do you know which one you have?

Without overclocking, youll be fine.

Thanks for the replies, I will be running everything at stock speeds. Do you think my corrupted boot issues were psu related or a Sata glitch?
