HI there all experts

I am planning on a new C2D build after the price cut later this month. I have the opportunity to acquire the above PS for a good price. Wonder if its juicy enough/recommended for the following specs.

- C2D E6750
- Gigabyte or Asus P35 Mobo
- 2 GB Corsair/Kingston DDR2 800 RAM (I will probably get the best bang for the buck at that time)
- either a 7950 or a 8600/8500 GeForce Graphics Card or a ATI x1950 (I dont game that much, only occasional sports games, but i do some video editing/rendering stuffs)
- Seagate 500GB SATA HD
- WD 250 GB PATA HD
- Samsung SATA DVD Writer
- Pioneer PATA DVD Writer
- Multi Memory card reader + Floppy
- a 20" or 22" widescreen LCD

Only the CPU, RAM, mobo, SATA HD + DVD Writer and the graphics card will be purchased. The rest are recycled from my current p4 3.0c system.

Considering the CPU, mobo and ram will cost me upwards of $450 (183 cpu, 150 mobo and 100++ ram) and my budget is around $800++, I think I have to scrooge around to get within the budget. Any $ that can be saved here and there adds up.

THanks a lot erveryone.

Nope.
That power supply sucks; I had one. It only puts out about 350W continuous during operation, and even that is split over dual rails. You need to look elsewhere.

It could probably handle it, but for a system like that I'd get a higher-quality unit. Corsair HX520W would work very well, or if you want cheaper an Enhance ENP-5150GH 500W (from ewiz through froogle for $67). Both are quiet supplies.

I see. I have my reservation when I find out that I can get the above PSU for less than $50, heh. People always want to get as cheap as possible. I will go on and research further on other PSU units. Thanks for the advises.
