Antec SLK3700AMB

I've got the Antec SLK3700AMB case which includes the SL350PEC powersupply.

Here's my question..

I power on the computer, the exhaust fan of the PSU spins, but the fan that points downwards of the PSU does not..!
Sometimes when i power-off the computer, and power it on again, that fan starts spinning very slowly, and it stays that way.

I connected that fan monitoring-cable (from my PSU) to my motherboard (SYSFAN 1). To see how fast that PSU was spinning. =
937 rpm according to Abit EQ. (it shows red btw - and the mobo-speaker starts beeping alarm sounds).
But i thought..., that connector on my mobo, that i connected the PSU fan cable for, is not meant for monitoring PSU's with? Maybe, maybe not.. I thought maybe its for standard case fans that runs about 2000 rpm or something like that...

Is this normal? I mean, sometimes that PSU fan wont even spin. Is it auto-controlled? If it detects heat, it would increase rpm?

Any ideas i'm thankful...

..

Btw, are my temperatures ok?

SYS - 41c
CPU - 48.5c
PWM- 40.5c

Abit IS7
P4 2,6ghz 800fsb retail, with intels cooler
TwinMos 512 DDR/Dual-Channel

- havent got the front fan yet installed in my case, hope it arrives tomorrow. So i only have the rear 120mm fan that came with the case from Antec.

Get a hair dryer to heat up the PSU. If the other fan doesn't work, then you have a bad PSU. Normal, both fans should run, even at very light load.

i dont know why, but for some reason i had a similar antec case w. psu and one 4 pin molex was preventing everything from working so i jus left that one unplugged and everything worked
