What color is this thing really? I am really thinking about getting it. It looks to be a solid case...I've heard different opinions about the color. What is "metallic bronze?" I've heard it's like a silvery color. I'm trying to figure out which components would look better in it, white, beige, or black. Any help? Is it a really big case? or something about the size of an enlight 7237?

The metallic gray is like a silver color more I think. The door makes it so the components arent visible and color isnt as important. Dont know about the size, but according to the specs it isnt that big.

I have the 2600 and it's a tan hued grey color. I tend to think of it as a slightly tan bmw type of grey.

I own this case and have built two other systems using it.

The color is a medium/dark metallic gray color. There is no hint of brown or tan in it and it definitely wouldn't be considered silver unless you said it was very, very dark silver.

The size is 18.3"(H) x 8.25"(W) x 18.6"(D).

Here's a pic of the outside of my case so you can see the color

Has anyone compared this and a 1080AMG side by side? The AMG and AMB look the same in pictures.

Also, RalfHutter, what dye/ paint did you use to match the drives? It looks excellent.

Okay...the last four systems I have built have used the "bronze" 3700 or 2600...the best way I can describe it is slate gray. It is not bronze. There is no light that it will ever look "bronze" in 🙂 I have never had ANYONE say its bronze. People always say gray.

Will this case be a good complement for the Sony HMD-A440 19" monitor, the Logitech Z-560 speakers, and the Canon i850 printer? Or will the case really stick out?

Well, if I were only going to use one 120 mm fan, I'd put it in the back (to help exhaust the PSU), but I think you really should consider having a low-volted combo of two fans so that one is blowing air over the HD(s). In the end, two low volted might make the case breathe as well as one 12 volted.

The paint is by SEM (a line of vinyl dyes designed for the Auto Body repair industry, you won't find it at normal Auto Parts stores, you need to get it at Auto Body Paint stores or online) and the color is #39423 "Medium Quartz Metallic". I get mine from Danny's Dealer Supplies. There's a cheaper place to get it but I've never ordered from them.

Here's a color chart and another color chart for the entire line of SEM colors.
