What he says... I'm a 3700AMB owner also and I'm very happy with it.

I have this case, same one. It's okay.

Not good if you swao out mobo alot, as it doesnt have access to the right side of case.

All in all, it's okay.

Thats a great price on a good case, I wonder if the Best buy will have the exact same psu, 21A on the 12volt rail is sweet for a $40.00 case.

To who it may concern, I have one. The case is defiantly quiet. When I turn my Zalman 7000 AlCu up to 2500 rpms, I only notice the initial noise of the fan gaining speed.

The most noise comes from a fan out of an old P4 stock HS that is press into duty as a front case fan.

So far so good with my Antec 2650. Noise levels are pretty good. I'm running the stock AMD HSF, as well as an 80mm Vantec Stealth front intake, a Silenx 80mm side panel intake, and the stock 120mm Antec rear exhaust. This case is a pretty good deal considering its low price with 350w PSU.

I just built a machine for a friend with one of these things.

Between the Abit IS7- board and 2.4 gig with AVC hs and fan, 9600XT board, and the rear fan hooked up- man this thing is LOUD compared to my Sonata.

The other thing I didn't like about this is the front mount USB ports. You really can't use the upper one, and the bottom one is tough to use also. Seems the board behind the front panel has some stress to it when you plug in a USB device. The plastic the board is snapped into flexes somewhat.

The metal on this thing definately feels thinner, or at least the box flexes more than the Sonata

Does the PSU on the 2650 have fan only connectors? The Sonata PSU does and is probably the reason why it is quieter, that is, if the rear fan is plugged into the fan only plug....

m 🙂

I just got this case with my new system. Its good for the price, but its really hard to work in because of how small it is. I didn't like the mobo mounts either, if you do like I did and put all the peripherals on the mobo after you mounted it in the case you will bend the mobo. Its not too loud, but not too quiet either. I have one zalman 80mm for intake in the front. There is a space for another 80mm on the side, which I haven't put a fan in yet. Does anyone think that would be advisable, as wouldn't it throw off the amount of air inside the case and possibly push too much air in the case creating "dead zones"? Anyone have any experience with this?

Concerning my message earlier about not being able to use the front USB ports- I sent a message into ANTEC Customer service a couple of days ago about it and explained the issue. I also said how UNhappy I was compared to my Sonata, and this is a rather poor cousin.

I haven't seen any message back yet, and don't know if I will.

I just got one for my girlfriend.

Yeah, they front USB ports suck
I have the same problem as reidc.

I took the front bezel off and I think I 'm gonna try to
stabilze the USB port better with super glue.

I would take this case back, but it was only $39 and I won't find anything close at that price.

I have the 3700BQE which lookd the same but bigger
The build quality of the 3700 is so much better (thicker metal, Front USB ports don't move, etc.)
At first, I thought I was getting another identical case since they look the same
till I got home and noticed 2650 was smaller and had different internals
and realized it was a totally different (cheaper) model

Oh well...

LMK, reidc, if you hear anything from Antec

Ya-
I will- but don't think I'll get a reply. As a last resort- one of the Antec guys hangs around here in the forum. I asked him a question in the Sonata II and P180 Thread- I think he is known as AntecCSR or something like that- maybe ask him about it.
