Antec SLK2600AMB fitment

Hello all,

I have a Micro ATX motherboard and i'm looking into getting this case. Case Link
If that link doesnt work search for SLK2600AMB

On that webpage it says "Mainboard Supported
Standard ATX (Pentium 4 and AMD) motherboards"

so it just takes standard ATX and not a micro ATX like the motherboard that i have??

Here's a better link Antec But from looking at the motherboard mounting holes, it doesn't look like ut supports micro ATX. Why not just get a regular ATX mobo? Just a thought.

All ATX cases should support microATX too. Looking at this Newegg photo, I do see all the same holes that our 3700AMB's have, and I use microATX boards in those (my photo guide happens to feature one, in fact). So I think that's a go.

Bigger picture: I recommend stepping up to the 3700AMB if you can afford it. The heftier 350W PSU is reason enough, and it is also built a bit differently (recessed PCI-slot area), comes with a larger 120mm exhaust fan and has capacity for more hard drives with the option to mount a 120mm fan in front to focus cooling on the HDD rack.

In addition to what MB said, the 3700 also has rubber Hard drive isolators that the 2600 lacks.

The MB should fit.

You also may want to look into the suggested upgrade with the case. For an extra $10-$15 you will be getting a better case and pwr.

I just put together a system with the SLK3700AMB and it is a great case.

I second that about upgrading to the SLK3700AMB. Cool and quiet. I found Directron will sell it without the power supply (I already have a very nice PSU) for $33. Killer deal if you don't need the PSU. See here.
