Hello, I have this antec case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129150
and have an dfi lan party UT 250gb (amd 64)... the antec mobo power supply connector connects to the mobo.. but there are quite a few pins unused from the connector from the psu.. (aka the psu power supply connector for the mobo has maybe 8 or so extra pins).

What should I do? do i need an amd64 supported power supply? or is this normal?

thanks!

The PSUs that come in a lot of Antec cases aren't up to an AMD64 mobo. But it may work depending on the connectors on the mobo. Many mobos that have the EATX (24-pin) ATX connector will work fine with a 20-pin ATX PSU. But if there is an 8-pin connector for CPU power, then you may be SOL and need a new PSU.

That PSU has a 20+4 pin connector...that mobo has 20pin ATX 1.0. You're fine as long as it's only 4 pins that aren't connecting. If it's 8 from the main connection then you're doing something wrong.

There's another ATX12v 4 pin connector that you need to plug in (should be next to the CPU).

Pretty sure that PSU has a PCI-E power connector too, you won't need it.

If you're running anything over a 6600GT though you're probably going to need a higher wattage PSU.
