Im currently picking out which parts to use for a future PC, and I am trying to decide which of these two cases to use.

It's my first time building a PC. Anyway, I like the 3700 becuase its got a lot of room compared to the LAN boy and its got 120mm fans. But I like the LAN boy becuase its lighter, got a window, comes with the carrying straps for a LAN.

I do plan on going to LANs, but not too often.

The biggest things that keep me from getting the LAN boy is that it doesnt have much room for more hard drives and only 2 80mm fans might not cut it for overlocking, compared to the 2 120mm fans on the 3700.

Any suggestions would greatly be apreciated.

Unless you're really concerened about weight and size, I'd get the slk3700. I have the original lanboy and it is indeed light, but as you said there isn't that much room in it. Additionally there is the fan problem. The airflow isn't that great unless you mod the case, so for overclocking you may need to mod. Since it is your first time building a pc the slk3700 would be a bit more friendly, so I'd probably recommend you get it.

You can buy carrying straps. I have built ~40 computers using ~30 different cases. By far imho the slk3700 is the best case I have ever used. I don't know how important a window is to you but you can always cut one in. I wouldn't want to mar that beautiful finish though.

Dude look at the Super Lanboy from Antec, no PSU...but bigger window and 2 120mm fans built into it!

After adding the PSU, its way too much for me to afford. Not to mention it is a bit ugly...

The Lanboy is really light but I found the panels to be really weak. I own a SLK3700 and, while it is on the heavy side, it is rock solid.
One thing that I realised was that the Lanboy is like 15$ more than the SLK, but there's no way I would have used regular cables in there... so 2 x rounded IDE = 15$ again. I kept my 30$ and spent it on faster components.
