I got this PSU from a friend, who had two, so he gave it to new :Q So I was wondering how reliable these are? I remember hearing Antec being one of the best, but is it really that good?
Yeah... that thing is freakin awesome! Not you'll really notice a difference, but I see no problem in using it. Test it out on a fan or something first to make sure its working fine.
it better does, he bought 2 from newegg last week. And decided he doesn't need the second one, and instead of paying for the %15 restocking fee, decided to give it to me! i love my friends
My Antec TruePower 550w PS is great!!!! Have been using it for close to 2 years without any problems. I got it when I was running AMD based systems and it has migrated over to my new Intel P4 2.6c rig.
No problems with anything. I would highly recommend it.
My only gripe is the fans don't push enough air, so it does get very warm when under full load. Other than that, the power is very "Tru", especially when oc'ing.
