Hey guys... I recently bought 2 cases, BOTH of them are the Antec SX-830.

One of the cases had a defective power supply. So I took it Antec Inc. headquarters in fremont and they offered me a replacement. When I got home and opened the box, I found out it looked a little different than the one that I had in the case.

The new one I recieved had the model PP-303XP while the other one was PP-303X. What's the difference? Did they give me a wrong PSU? Is this one better or worse?

Only dif is that the XP supports the Pentium 4 Power Supply Requirements (different plugs), so it's ATX 2.03 Compliant, while you other one was simply ATX 2.01 Compliant (Not Supported by P4)

Those 830's you bought must have been purchased a "LONG" time ago if you got a PP-303X. I got my 1030B over 6 months ago and I have a PP-303XP. PP-303X's were popular around the time AMD introduced there first gen Athlon...
