I recently purcahsed a ANTEC SOLUTION SERIES 400w psu and has been running very hot ever since I installed it. I checked to make sure the fans were spining and what do you know, they arn't. There was a connector to put into the mobo which I did and still the damn thing runs hot. Its so hot that I can place my hand on it for more than 3 seconds. Any idea whats wrong? (its been making my harddrive temperatures go pretty high 50 degrees)

Asus p4p800 deleuxe
pentium 4 3.2 ghz
BFG 6800 gt oc
1 gig DDR 400
Antec 400W

Thanks

Your psu fans should be spinning at startup. The mobo connector is just so that mobo can monitor the psu. Return the psu for a replacement.
