I'm about to get a new psu for my pc...with tbred b 2100+ ,I'm thinkin of antec solution series 400watts and truepower 330watts...from the specs :

solution series 400watts :
5v - 38A
12v - 18A
3.3v - 28A

truepower series 330watts :
5v - 30A
12v - 17A
3.3v - 28A

I'm forced to choose btwn these 2...which 1 is better ??

i swear by the truepower series, but ive heard that the solution series is decent as well so i would go with the 400 watt psu.

also, another way you could go is with the truepower 380 at newegg. its only like $8 more and i think that it would be more reliable...

you might want to check this out as well...

stick with tru-power. dedicated power for each voltage stabalizes the whole system, especially in an overclock

I quote myself:

The whole "TruePower" spiel is kinda scammy anyway, naming besides (330=310 does equal true), because in modern systems both the CPU and graphics draw on the +12V line and so having seperate +3.3V and +5V circuits when there is virtually no draw on the +3.3V but a few amps for the mainboard anyway is just a feature that is too late to make a difference, except in marketing.

Anyhoo, if they are the same price then it is a tough call but if you intend on using a powerful video card then go for the 400 for the higher amp 12V, or else consider other units.
