Antec PlusView 1000AMG

Linky as it doesnt say on the site, well i cant see it. does anyone know if this case is Alluminium or not?

It is made out of steel and painted gray, NOT aluminum. I have the smaller one, the 660AMG, quite happy with it too. Unfortunately if you looking to match your case with your drive faces this case is not for you.

I have this case and love it. Antec has reviews from various places on their website, but they would only use the good ones anyway. Two things I have noticed about the case are the paint scratches easily and the fan covers are restrictive.

Actually AFAIK we end up putting all reviews on the site, good or bad. For cases/PSU's they end up being on the positive side for the most part. Other products, well it's not always so good. 8)

ooo, an actual Antec Rep on anandtech, thats cool....now a question: Did you shoot whoever came up with 'metallic grey' b/c although it looks nice, its a bitch to match the drives with.

Black drives look kind of cool with AMG. At least a lot better than beige drives. Plus, the door on this case hides the drives anyways.

Basically we got tired of just beige and black (our first black cases were out back in 1992 or something like that). I like the AMG much more then the AMB.

And no shootings at Antec. 8)

I own a 1080AMG and I like the color too. I just wish Antec stop using 80mm fans, 92mm & 120mm fans should be standard on all cases.

AntecCSR how do I install the front panel firewire to my Epox 8RDA+ ? 😕

even the 1040, which is advertised as black, is more of a ch. grey, the MG does look nice...but its not practical for me. Then on the 1000 view, there is a vast difference in color when comparing the body and front plastic part. ~~cheezy

Is it true you guys just use chenming cases?
