ANTEC PLUS660AMG front firewire and ASUS P4PE problem

Has anyone successfully hooked up the front firewire on the antec plus660amg to a P4PE motherboard? The antec case only has one pin for the VP and one pin for the GRND header, but the motherboard has two pins for both VP and GRND. Will the headers on the motherboard only work with the card/wire connections came with the motherboard? Also does it matter which direction the wires go on to the header? I put pastic ends facing out so their labels (TPA+, TPA-, etc.) could be read. Does that matter?

Should this question be in the motherboard forum? :)

Thanks for the help.

What are the labels on the case's connectors? I've got mine all hooked up and working properly, maybe I can help. Now, if only I can say the same about the front USB connectors on my case. I still haven't received the updated circuit board enabling USB 2.0 on the case front...ahem! :D

Are the connectors labelled TPA+, TPA-, TPB+, TPB-, VP and VG? If they are then here's how I connected mine: TPA+ and TPA- are side by side (TPA+ is pin 1), skip the next row of pins and connect TPB+ and TBP- in the third row, connect VP to the +12v pin in the fourth row and connect VG in the lone pin at the bottom.

Thanks for the replies. Those were the correct labels, bluntman. I followed the instructions in both manuals (the motherboard and the case manual). I notice that on the motherboard supplied card, it sports 'header1' and 'header2' with matching header labels on the motherboard. Do those have anything to do with one being a 6-pin connection and the other being a 4-pin connection? I'll try both methods (double-checking with your advice first bluntman, and if that doesn't work... the dreaded call to tech support :D

bluntman, when you plugged the front firewire port to the motherboard, were the labels on the wires facing out so you could read them?
