Antec Plus660 AMG: Anyone get USB 2.0 to work from the front connectors?

I contacted Antec and they sent me an updated cable but only usb 1.0/1.1 works from the front connectors. My usb 2.0 jumpdrive is called an "unknown device" in those ports.

That's with the updated cable that has the two round cables over the wires (two sets of wires), heatshrinked at the end right before the breakout? You're not getting 2.0 speeds from that?

Have to get mine installed and see. Just got here today.

Yes, the cables that they sent me actually look like the ones that came with the case (two round cables; one for usb and one for firewire) but they were supposed to be updated and they don't recognize my usb 2.0 jumpdrive. They recognize my USB 1.1 devices though.

Ohhhh....you're updated even further from mine then. Mine didn't have the nice heavy sleeves originally. I could understand why they were having problems in the case.

From my understanding, some people are getting it to work and some aren't. Not a great solution yet. Still have to try and install mine tonight.

If your Jumpdrive is not recognized on those ports, it may be for a different reason than the lack of USB 2.0 readiness. The Jumpdrive is supposed to work fine on USB 1.1 as well as 2.0, just at a lower speed. Double-check your front-port wiring against your mobo's pinout diagram, for starters, to make sure it's wired up correctly.

I checked the wiring and it's fine. In fact I tried the jumpdrive on the cable/ports supplied by asus and the drive works fine on there. It doesn't work on a usb 1 hub.

The lack of 2.0 speeds is known by Antec (cheap cables and port design). They are still working on the replacement. The current one that's supposed to support 2.0 and is in testing is getting mixed results.
