Antec PLUS1080 case and A7N8X-E Deluxe USB problem

I have an Antec PLUS1080 case with an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard. I am trying to connect the front USB ports to the USB header on my motherboard. I did do just that and then upon sticking my thumb drive into the USB port, the thumb drive lights up like it?s getting power and then stops working and Windows says that a device has malfunctioned. Any idea what could be causing this?

Sounds like the same problem I had. You need to email Antec for a new front port. They sent mine out free of charge.
