None of the reviews mentioned how bad these things are. They are a huge pain to take on/off (esp the right one if you run cables behind the mobo), and their little plastic things break super easy. So poorly designed vs the rest of the case.

Yup, plastic w/ an aluminum skin. At least they don't warp and/or separate as badly as they did in the early batches of the 180... ;)

Hey now. I requested an RMA for my original door 20 days before my warranty expired and they sent me a brand new front bezel assembly with the alu/plastic/alu door.

Best part was that the new bezel had an updated Intel HD Audio block instead of AC '97

 Antec's known for that. BITD the Super LAN Boy case had some front panel USB ports that were older - everything USB 2.0 you plugged in got a Windows message saying "this device can work faster..." Antec replaced them for anyone that asked.

The 182 is a very nice case IMHO.... I was definitely impressed with mine. As far as the side panels are concerned, I didn't find them to be a pain in the arse at all. However, the routing is made much more difficult by the very limited amount of room that they give you behind the mobo. In this case, 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch of extra room would make everything easier. This really isn't the fault of the side panel (though you could argue that their thickness contributes to it).... it's more of a general design issue (though you can still do a super clean install if you take your time... I barely have any visible cables).

In any case, I definitely didn't have any problems with the panels themselves. I personally thought they were very easy to work with and well made. I do have some complaints about the case though... it's not perfect!

I sheared some of the plastic tabs off the side panel.
Called up Antec & they sent me another set...probably the same old junk, though.
Good CS, however.
