I just got m SSD in and will hopefully be build my new Sandy Bridge system in my old P182. My motherboard came with a front panel USB 3.0 panel that also houses a SSD. Is there a way to mount the front panel in the 3.5" bay so I can slip my SSD in there?

Looking at the manual online here, I copied this expert from the pdf but I'm not making sense of it. first of all it refers to it as external? I'm sure it's talking about the internal 3.5" bay though.
I also am not sure where the drive rails are. Anyone have any pics of them so I can scour the computer room in hopes of finding them.

External 3.5” Drive Installation
There is one external 3.5” drive bay.
1. Carefully remove the plastic drive bay cover and metal plate covering the
drive bay.
2. Find a pair of 3.5”drive rails in the box containing the top fan spoiler.
3. Mount the drive rails onto the sides of the 3.5” device. Make sure the metal
portion is angled on the outside and facing forward.
4. Slide the device into the drive bay until it clicks into place.
5. Connect a small 4-pin connector from the power supply to the 4-pin
connector on the floppy drive.

Anybody?

I found a pair of 3.5" drive rails and mounted them to the front panel. It slides in a bit but gets caught. It's too hard to reach in there and pry them apart to see if it will "click" when it slides further. And I'm not even sure they are the correct drive rails.

Any ideas?

OK, I found a link to the rails. I know I have the correct ones but it's just not sliding back freely until it clicks.

Heres the link to the accessories. It's the single pair of rails to the left of the black cable ties.
link.

Finally got it. One issue is that the screws that hold the SSD in the front panel are bottom mounted. They must snag something (even though the bottom of the 3.5" slot is flat) when sliding the panel into the 3.5 hole.

So, I wiggle and jiggled and got it in there. BUt the front is not flush. It's not off by much so it'll do but it's kinda annoying. And it's on the furthest set of holes back so there isn't a way to get it to go back more.

bumping this back up in case someone might have the same set up. It's not flush to the front of the case ad I've tried every one of the holes.
