Antec P180B case - PSU on bottom

Just picked up this case and was wondering what I should do with my PSU which has a large fan on the bottom - would it make sense to try and mount it upside down or just not worry about the fan that is now pretty mush useless for taking heat out of the case. It does look like it will help evacuate some of the heat from the hard drives though.

The PSU opening of the P180 is designed so the PSU can be mounted either way (some cases use a removeable plate to achieve the same thing. That lower compartment was designed so that the PSU fan exhausts the air from that area only including the warm air off the HDDs.
. Generally the PSU would be mounted with the fan up in the P180.

Other cases with the PSU on the bottom have an open grill in the bottom of the case (Stacker) so the fan would be down in that type of case. That segregated air for the PSU keeps the PSU fan from having to ramp up thus keeping the noise down.

Mount it fan-down. There's enough space for proper airflow. I have my P180 and TruePower 2 PSU set up that way and haven't had any issues with it.
