Antec P180 Users - Does your front door not close fully?

there's just a tiny gap when the door is "closed" kinda annoying.. anyone know of a way to fix it?

the door is what I hate about the case the most 🙁

There was a thread a while back where someone had a fix for it. Try a search. My fix is to just leave it be...doesnt bother me being so minute. At first I was irritated by it, but soon realized that there are many more important things to think about lol. Actually you can bend it yourself gently to bring it back into shape. Locking it for an extended period of time will help as well. The warping is unlikeable, the silence the door helps achieve is worth it.

Yup, if you keep it locked most of time, it will retain its shape

I've never noticed a gap. Where do you see it on your P180?

Its in the middle, right near the firewire and USB ports....it is kinda stupid, but I don't care....the door is just natuarlly warped....

in fact, I just broke a hook off of one door and I havent had the thing out of the box for more than 6 hours! :|

I have the same problem with mine. It has a large gap. I emailed Antec and they shipped me a replacement. I'll be replacing it later today. Hopefully it fixes the problem.

Id go with that theory. It is naturally warped.

Mines got a gap near the top which is simply because theres only 1 magnet holding it closed and thats located at the bottom of the door. A fix could always be to superglue a rectangular magnet to the inside top of the door, the part with the grills at the side 5-10cm above the reset button and another one onto the door.

Also on another note, the little plastic hook things that help hold the side panels on suck. My side panel got stuck so i broke them off 🙁 They really shouldnt have bothered with those or should have made them from metal, or magnets.
