Antec p180/p182 fan installation

Sorry for the noob questions guys, but for those of you with a p180/p182 case how did you install the upper hd cage fan?

The fan i got, yate loon 120mm wont fit inside the bracket that the case comes with, the sides of the fan casing are too large. There are no threads for screws to be screwed in for the fan either.

you can put it in front of the hard drive cage, and screw it in from the front of the case.

fyi, i installed a fan there and checked temps with and without the fan on.

i noticed no difference in temps.
 
idiotekniques that seemed to work but the screws are a little small, seemed not to move alot so itll work i guess.

tyler i got that fan installed just the one in front of it confused me, thanks for your help

mine was very snug and tight. as long as the fan doesnt rattle i guess it doesnt matter.

but check your temps with or without it, i dont think its worth it - it just adds noise.
