I will be installing the optical drives in my P180 case this weekend - as part of finishing up my first build. INstalling the drives requires first installing rails on the drives. Of course, the case directions include absolutely no clue as to which holes in the rails you use, nor where to position the rails on the drives.

Is there anyone who has built a computer in this case who can give me some advice?

There are three holes for the forward-most screw on each rail. Use the third hole (the first hole being the closest to the front of the rail). The rails attach on the top set of holes on either side of the optical drive.

For me and my Samsung DVDRW, that made the front of the drive perfectly flush with the other drive covers.

I just attached one rail to the drive and checked to see if it fit flush. If not, it's just one screw that you have to move.
