Antec P180 Case power problem

I am trying to solve problem with my new build. I can't get any power. None of the fan including power supply fan are working. I am using Antec P180. Intel Pantium D processor and Intel MOBO. Non of P180's fan has connector to connect to MOBO. Should it be start no matter we have MOBO connected or not? Intel MOBO has connect to connect fans all over the board.

Or How do I connect Antec P180's fan to MOBO.

Thanks,

I am confused by what you said.

1. The system powers up but no fan is running?
2. Nothing powers up?

Fans do not need to be connected to the 3-pin power connector on MB, but you could. Some fans are equipped with 4-pin power connector (PSU or fan controller) while some are equipped with 3-pin power connector (MB) or both. You dont need to connect them all.

I hope I am answering your question because I am not sure what your problem is.

Generally if fans have the drive type connector, they draw more power than is recommended for connecting to the mobo. but you can connect them to a fan controller with 4pin to 3pin adapters. Places like jab-tech.com and svc.com sell those adapters. Or you could cut the connectors off and crimp on 3pin connectors. Most fan controllers take 3pin connectors. jab-tech also has the excellent Sunbeam Rheobus fan controller for only $9.00 +sh as well as the contacts and housings for the 3-pin fan connectors.
