I've just started a new build with the Antec P180 case and am having problems fitting the DVD Drives.

I'm using LG GSA-H10NBAL and having fitted the rails supplied with the case, the drives do not sit flush to the front of the case.
The best position leaves the front of the drive sticking out more than half an inch.

Are there any other rails that I can use or do I have any other options except to glue the rails to the drives in the right position or try and make up custom rails to make this work?

Thanks for any advice.

i think you adjust by mounting the rails further forward? there should be different holes or aslot? u sure u don't got it backwards?

There is a significant chance that, after reading the manual again, the rails are fitted backwards. Doh!

Yeah I built a system using this case and had that "issue" I actually ended up drilling new holes in the rails.

Also one thing about this case that bugged me is the magnet is too powerful on the door and it pulled out the power button so I had to glue it into place again

I had a similar problem with DVD drives that didn't fit into an Antec 1080 AMG case. I simply had to adjust the rails to get it to work right.

I just brought home a P180B today for a new Conroe build that I should start in mid-August ... case was on sale at a local computer shop for 25% off. Just couldn't pass it up!
