I have the P160 and an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe. I have all the connectors connected, the HDD light, the PWR and RESET, however the power light plug that came with the P160 has just two pin holes. The header on the motherboard has three pins. I tried connecting it to the first two and then the last two but none worked. I can see the HDD light blinking away just fine. I'd love to see the power indicator working as well if it is at all possible.

Why ask then? Many USB headers on mobos have one pin missing on one side in the last location (10-pin header for two USB channels with pin 10 missing). Some case makers plug the pin 10 hole and others don't bother. The hole is sometimes filled with a tiny plug that can be removed with a sharp knife like an Xacto while other shells are made without the hole to begin with. If I need the hole and the shell is the latter type, I will heat up a straightened paper clip and "make a hole"...

You've never been in a situation or observed a situation in which someone asked a question and then when given the answer, just kinda playing it off says I knew that.

Move the PWR-LED header from the case around a bit. Rotate it to check if it's on in the right direction, if that matters at all. Switch between 2 of the 3 pins. Etc.

On the A8N32-SLI Deluxe the power light portion has three pins. The first and the last of the three are the ones that need to be covered in order for the light to work. I just found that out and I am unable to mod the cable coming from the case because it just doesn't split into two easily.

Some mobos have two-pin pwr LED connections and some have 3-pin. And sometimes cases come with a two-to-three pin adapter if the one on the LED wires is only two. On your mobo, are there actually three pins where the pwr LED is supposed to connect or only two? If there are actually 3 pins, often the middle one is also ground, so connecting the LED to the + and the middle pin will also work. Try it - can't hurt anything (even by hooking the LED up backwards), it will either work or not.
