I've spent over two months looking at parts, reading reviews, learning about hardware and such. The P160 with the windowed side-panel from Newegg ($131 shipped), was my ideal choice. I fell in love with its looks and the features both inside and out had me convinced. Then I started to notice that the Antec Super LANBoy, which did not impress me with its looks at first glance, was a very prevalent case, with very good reviews. I did some more research on the case, and it started to grow on me. When I visited Antec's site and did a comparison between the P160, the Super LANBoy, and (after it went down $80 at MicroCenter.com) the Chenbro Gaming Bomb II. All had pluses, and the only minuses that I could find were price (Gaming Bomb II, and after I considered another factor, which I will discuss later, the P160 as well), ventilation (Super LANBoy, and the P160), and looks (Super LANBoy, though I was starting to like it more and more). The other factor with the P160 is that it only comes with one fan, which I do not like and would replace with a pair of matching and higher CFM fans. That's another $25 at least.
When I found out that CompUSA was having rebates on the Super LANBoy, I decided to be smart and go with it.
(I go to a LAN on a semi-regular basis, so that is a pretty big factor in my decision-making process.)
Consider (IMO):
Chenbro Gaming Bomb II -- best looking; nicest features, including a space for a 92mm fan on the top, which I greatly appreciated seeing as I wanted to get a Vantec NXP-301 fan controller; integrated handles; price sucks.
P160 (with windowed side-panel) -- very good looking; nice features, but crappy fan; no handles; price sucks after buying carrying strap and fans.
Super LANBoy -- decent aesthetic appeal; poor features, but two fans are included (albeit rather slow); free carrying strap; price is amazing after rebate (~$45).
Super LANBoy won it, in my opinion.
I plan to solve -- or at least alleviate -- the ventilation concerns of the Super LANBoy by modifying the case to include a 92mm fan space on the top for added exhaust. Additionally --and this might be overkill -- I am going to install a Vantec Spectrum PCI Fan Card in the middle PCI slot under my BFG 6800 GT OC PCI Express for added cooling.
Hopes this helps.
