Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate vs Thermaltake VA7000SWA Shark Aluminium

I want a good mix of cooling and fan control.

The Thermaltake VA7000SWA looks more sleek but I get the impression it's not as cool as the Antec Nine Hundred.

Any thoughts?

900 has good cooling whiteout a doubt but it does have many drawbacks. First and the most annoying is the excessive amount of screws. next is along the same line as the screws and its how you have to go about mounting the HDD. There positioning is fine tis just a pain to get them mounted in the drive bays. There there is the sub par wire managment in the case. I have the 900 and its the version just before they added the cable managment holes in the motherboard tray. But here are the modifications i did to the case to help work out some of the above mentioned issues.

All of that is enough for me to choose most other high end cases over the 900. Now if you want a case with some nice cooling have a look at the CM 690. You'll find a link to the mod i did on my 690 in my sig.

Hmmm cooling good though ? I am afraid my boyish mind loves the look of that case. I dont mind the initial hassle of the install, as long as the cooling is good.

What about the thermaltake?

Looks like a good case with some good cooling but i have no personal exsperience with it. Havn't even had a chance to look at one in the store.

I went with the Antec Nine Hundred in the end , thanks guys
