This is a frys deal but it is avaliable on frys.com for that price.

Personally I swore off gawdy cases after having an antec twelve hundrend for over a year, but that is me. Regardless this is a great price.

I was able to get free ultra saver shipping with my zip code.

Edit: The rebate has been put up now on fry's site

That's a pretty good deal on the case. I've built (2) systems for friends with those. Personally I prefer the P180 & P182 but the 900 is much easier to work with.

When you say that it's easy to work with, are you sure you're not thinking of the 902?

Fairly certain it was the 900. The comparison is mainly with the P180/182 which are a bitch to work with the separate bottom PSU compartment.

Same experience. The 900 was easy to get around inside compared to the P180 that I've worked on. The only drawback is that the PS is on the bottom so you have to make sure the cables can reach the top. Well, that and if you fill out your box, managing cables might be a chore.

Edit: Correction. It's the P180 that you have to be careful on the PS and its cable lengths. The 900 isn't as easy as the P180 with the drive bays but I mean it's just removing the front and then the drive cage. It's not the only case that doesn't have filters for the fans.

The reason I asked is because i do have a 900 and I do consider it to be a bitch to work with. There's no dust protection, virtually no cable management (not even a tunnel behind the drive cage!) and you have to practically take the thing apart just to do something as simple as mount a drive or clean the front fans.

Would I buy it again? Probably not. It's a PITA.

They did add dust filters on the v3 with USB3.

I don't understand all the love for the Antec cases... the drive cages are great.... for 2001. Modern cases should use side-to-side mounted drive cages for the 3.5" mounts.

I've worked with cases from Coolermaster, Gigabyte, Thermaltake Lian Li... and all seemed better than the cases from Antec I've worked with (including the 900), and generally less money.

That said, if you must have one of these, it's a good price.

^You're right on every count, except when it comes to the 300. It's very easy to work with and blows away any other case in the same price range when it's on sale. The cheap Cooler Master cases are just tinfoil garbage in comparison.

You're definitely talking about the 902. There's no practical way to add dust filters to the older model 900 because of the way it's constructed.

Just went there thinking I might get another one of these and it said in-store only.

Oh well.
