Antec NeoHE 550W PSU

anyone have the Antec NeoHE 550W PSU? how is it?

FYI: i will be putting this in the Antec P-180 case with the Asus A8N32-SLI delux mobo.

I have the 430 version and it seems to be working ok, but this power supply has some known issues with Asus motherboards. There is a long thread over at hardforums about it. Supposedly there is an updated version that fixes the problem, but I'm not sure if they are in the supply yet or not.

I have one. I love the cable sleeving and that it's modular. It works very well in my P180 case.

antecs are up there in my list of psus, don't see why this one would be an exception

Antec PSU`s are good all around power supplies.
They are not the best but they are not the worse.

There are known compatibility issues with the NeoHE and certain board such as the Asus A8N line. There's a high failure/incompatibility rate among many users including ones at AnandTech, SilentPCReview and HardOCP. I would highly suggest you reconsider the motherboard/PSU combo.

i like antecs but i wouldn't buy that combo based on what i know. maybe the compatability issues have been straightened out but asus and the neo he were a major problem together when they came out.

if you're sure the problem is remedied, then go for it.
