I'm collecting data for an upcomming Core 2 Duo build.

Reading up on motherboard reviews, I can see that some boards require a 4-pin ATX-12V connector and that some require an 8-pin connector.

I'm planning on using the Antec P150 case, that comes with the Antec Neo HE 430 PSU. Do any of you know what ATX-12V connector that PSU comes with?

I went to Antec's site, but I don't know what to look for.

The NeoHE has the required cables for almost all consumer motherboards, you should be fine.

As far as I can see from this review, the Neo HE 430 comes with a '19" cable for the main 20+4-pin ATX connector ' and a '20" cable for the 4-pin Auxiliary 12V connector', but there's no mention of any 8-pin connectors.

So when the text from this review states that 'The Intel motherboard requires a power supply unit that provides an 8-pin ATX-12V connector, so most likely you will have to purchase a new PSU together with your motherboard/processor.' it means that the Neo HE 430 isn't compatible with that board, right?

If so, the quote 'so most likely you will have to purchase a new PSU together with your motherboard' seems unnecessary extreme...

I just bought a new PSU that has the 8 pin connector you are refering to.

In my case it is really 2 4-pin 12v connectors put together just like the 20+4 connectors you see nowadays.

Here's a pic of the connectors on JohnnyGuru's review:
