Antec NEO ECO 620C

$99.99 (don't laugh, it is the official MSRP)
-$30 instant discount (magically this is the normal street price)
-$5 coupon code EMCKFHD35 (exp.5/2)
-$20 MIR (exp.5/2)
FREE shipping
= $44.99

Not the cheapest it has been, but if you need a 620W PSU, this one is pretty decent. Made by Seasonic, NOT modular but decent enough quality. The best thing is that it is very short, so it fits in cases that otherwise it wouldn't fit in, such as the Antec NSK3480.

I have this PSU and like it. Was originally in my Antec NSK3480 LAN party rig, then went into my Antec NSK2480 HTPC. Now it will be going into my new HTPC in a Lian Li PC-C50B case.

Does it have short cables, esp mobo cables?
I am thinking of it for the antec 300.
I have this PSU in a 900 and the cables are long enough. I had to run the MOBO cable under the MOBO, though.

This PSU is good. I've been using one in my main rig for about a year now. Like Zap said, I've seen it cheaper, though. I got mine for $39AR, and I've seen it go for $35AR.

I have this PSU as well and would also recommend it. Be aware though that it does not come with a power cord. Also, no manual for it exists, literally; there's a card that comes with it that directs you to Antec's website that then informs you "You are looking for a product that currently does not have a manual." o_O So this might not be a good choice for a new builder.

Thanks for pointing out the missing power cord. Most PSUs come with them, and some may be thrown for a loop if buying parts for a new rig only to end up with no power cord.

Regarding the manual, if someone needs a manual to hook up a PSU, they probably shouldn't be building a system. :p

Bah, I spaced the no power cord issue! Luckily, I had one. Anyone who doesn't can get one for next to nothing from Monoprice.

I think that the XFX PSUs are also made by Seasonic.

That XFX is semi-modular, 80Plus bronze, has 52 +12V amps vs 48 and sports a 5-year warranty. That said, it would be a cut above this one, but I can't say with any certainty whether or not it's worth the extra $14.

There were a fair number of complaints about the fan rattling on the XFX, otherwise I'd go for it.
