Antec Lanboy for $54.13 after MIR at CC.

I went to Circut City and had them pricematch the Lanboy at CompUSA. After the pricematch I paid $84.13 with tax and received a $30 MIR.. So $54.13 for a Lanboy is a good even with a MIR. CC price on the Lanboy is $99.99.
 
nice looking case!!! too bad CC and CUSA stores are 1.5 hrs. away from me. Thinking of building my 1st system and this case looks just right.🙁
 
Sounds like a huge YMMV. I think you just got lucky, CC normally won't pm with their AR price cheaper than compusa's price. Nice deal if you can get it though. I got mine for $45 a while back 🙂
 
Meh.. this deal is nice, but the Lanboy II is out and that I think is much better. I ahve this case, great power supply, that alone is worth the cash, and it is light and has a carrying strap, but cooling can get atrocious. I would have gotten something like the SLK600 instead had I known before.

Anyways, Super Lanboy or whatever it is called has room for 2x 120mm's, something that you should look for especially in such a small case. And the 3.5" drive cage can be a liability unless you rubber band it shut. Just me experience with it. I got it from CompUSA for $50 last year.
 
I picked one up about a month ago and like the case. Not for my main case, but exactly for that spare box that will go with me to lans. It's light and looks ok.

I honestly can't see your point about cooling?! If your stuff runs that warm why not use the front and rear grill fan mounts? Mine looks great after slapping another two lighted fans in there and cooling is the least of my issues!

If you look at the 2 posts immediately prior to my original one, they pretty much stated that it isn't such a great case and not a great deal. I was merely agreeing with them. It is unfortunate that nowadays people feel the need to debase others as a method of communication.
 
$80 - $30 mail in rebate = $50 for a antec lanboy(that is a 350 watts sl350 smart blue antec psu and nice aluminium case)

The price is hot, the YMMV isn't. Worth a try at your local CC, no loss if you fail and alot to gain if oyu cna get them to PM.

Where the hell does it say that? In my post I said I got it for $45, but that in no way makes this deal cold. Furthermore, the case has been absolutely fine with no problems.

Nice deal on a great looking case. I have the SLK3700 AMB and it's as heavy as my SX835II case, so I need something lighter to replace it, with the same looks. I would have gone for the new Lanboy but it doesn't even have a PSU and I'm trying to keep cost to a minimum right now. Thanks OP for the deal and no this thread should NOT be locked. If anyone can find a better deal on this product then this one please post it.

B&M rebate only. You must purchase this in their stores in order to get the rebate.
 
I did a little better since we don't have sales tax.... $77.99,
and then the $30 rebate printed right out.

They wanted to hassle me a little about the Salem CompUSA being too far away to be considered 'local' but I sweet-talked her into it. BTW, anyone in Eugene or Springfield, Oregon, they still have at least 2 left out on the floor. Just be prepared to argue that Salem is local.

(whoopsie... I just checked... there isn't one in Salem! Closest CompUSA is in Portland. NOT local. 😀 ) YMMV, I guess!

There may be better cases, but this kicks on the a couple of the cheesy ones I'm using and I can sell the PS.
